We also vaccinate all our kids for sore mouth, (even though we have never had a case of it), we also vaccinate yearly along with required boosters for CDT; however, we have started using the new vaccine from Colorado Serum, Caseous D-T, which does all the work of CDT, but, also protects against Caseous Lymphadenitis, which we also are lucky to not have had as our vet says it is in the soil most everywhere in the United States. Every Fullblood goat here at the Five Lazy Heart are from Full South African genetics, except, of course our percentage does that derived from other breeds mostly Nubian. Our fullblood hers is Full Blood South African as they, and, all full blood Boer Goats, originated from South African breeding stock.
